IOSH Managing Safely

Course Content

IOSH Managing Safely®  is aimed at managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation. It’s designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.

Importantly, Managing Safely® makes a powerful case for health and safety being an integral part of day-to-day management and business

This course:

• Is a nationally recognised and respected certificate training for managers and supervisors
• Is designed and quality-controlled by IOSH, the Chartered body for health and safety
• Covers two key areas – health and safety plus environmental basics

IOSH Assessment
At the end of the course there is a 45 minute closed book assessment consisting of 25 questions.

IOSH Project
As part of this course, you will complete a risk assessment project within your own work environment. The completed project has to be submitted to East Coast College within 14 days of completing the course.

A pass mark of at least 60% is required in both the assessment and project to enable an Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate to be issued.
